ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
A singer of traditional Celtic music, tenor Stuart Mitchell has performed frequently with the Celtic set & caeli bankd, RiRa. In collaboration with RiRa, he developed and performed new arrangements of many traditional favorite Scots-Irish ballads. Together, RiRa and Stuart have produced two commercially available albums, Return of the Day and Mischievous Merriment.
For nearly 30 years, Trinity Academy of Irish Dance has thrilled audiences with their inspiring showmanship. From humble beginnings in church basements to recent engagements as U.S. ambassadors on international stages, Trinity dancers consistently deliver a unique energy and passion for Irish dance and culture.
Twin brothers Christopher and Nicholas Burrus have been performing together as Willoughby Sprig since high school. Christopher is a slighty restless fellow with an eye for nautical finery and folkloric entanglements. He employs much of his time playing upon the mandolin, viola da gamba, bass, violin, tenor banjo, and thumb pianoas well as providing bass vocals. Nicholas was last seen providing harmonium, vocals, mountain dulcimer, harp, violin, and penny whistle to the duo's collective sound.
