New for 2011-2012: Middle School Orchestra
Workshops
For the 2011-2012 school year, The Wisconsin Philharmonic introduces a new educational project aimed at middle school orchestras. Middle School Orchestra Workshops will feature a string quintet from The Philharmonic joining your orchestra for a rehearsal. Our musicians will give a brief performance, conduct sectionals aimed at teaching new skills (such as vibrato and shifting) and improving your students' technique, and offering constructive criticism of the ensemble's performance. Be sure to sign your orchestra up for this unique learning experience. More info.
